Granocryl Smooth Masonry is a high quality masonry paint that offers full weather protection for exterior surfaces. It’s ideal for use on brickwork, concrete, roughcast rendering, pebbledash and other similar masonry surfaces. Granocryl Masonry Paint will last up to 10 years providing it is applied in accordance with the instructions on the pack and to recommended surfaces only.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.
- With a stiff brush and a fungicidal cleaner such as Granocryl Fungicidal Wash remove any dirt, chalk or grime.
- Remove any flaking or damaged paint, limewash or distemper.
- If the surface is powdery use Granocryl Stabilising Solution to prepare the surface and ensure the paint will adhere.
Application
Before applying stir the product thoroughly and test a small area to ensure colour and adhesion.
- Stir the product thoroughly to ensure a consistent colour.
- Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad or humid weather conditions are not forecast and avoid direct sunlight.
- If use more than one tin we recommend to mix them together to avoid any variations.
- Do not thin.
- Using a masonry brush or roller apply a generous amount of paint.
- Avoid over spreading.
- Leave 4-6 hours between coats.
- We recommend at least 2 coats for the best finish and durability.
- For a strong colour change more coats may be necessary.
- Depending on the weather conditions the paint may dry slower therefore it will take longer for the surface to become water resistant.
- If you have any spillages when painting, just clean them up with a wet cloth before the paint dries.
