Carved Russian Santa holding a staff and lantern and carrying a pack on his back. His soft tones of gold and bronze with the ice blue give him a frosted gingerbread character. This Russian Santa Claus is hand carved from solid linden. Once carved and sanded the Santa is artistically embellished, hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
